NHL ALUMNI MAN OF THE YEAR CELEBRATION

The NHL Alumni Association created the “Keith Magnuson Man of the Year Award’ in 2001 to honour NHL Alumni who have demonstrated commitment, determination, skill and leadership into post career success after their playing careers have come to an end.  All of our winners are shining examples of how these valuable characteristics, developed while playing, have transferred to give each of them similar success in their chosen career paths. Some of hockey’s greatest legends, names like Lindsay, Beliveau, Howe and Lafleur have been recognized and honoured with this award.

This year’s celebration takes place Saturday, March 14th, 2026, at the historic Concert Hall in Downtown Toronto. This year’s recipient is four-time Stanley Cup Champion, three-time Norris Trophy winner, member of the Hockey Hall of Fame and one of the greatest NHL players of all time – Paul Coffey. To help with the celebrations, some of Canada’s greatest Rock, and Country, musicians will join a star-studded guest list that includes some of the greatest NHL Alumni ever to play the game. This once-in-a-lifetime event gives fans a rare opportunity to rub shoulders with their hockey heroes.
