On June 10th, 2019, 24 golfers had a round they will never forget. Taking place at beautiful Wyndance Golf Club located in Uxbridge, Ontario, the first annual Wayne Gretzky Golf Classic took place. NHL Alumni member and the greatest hockey player of all-time, Wayne Gretzky, was on location joining each group for three holes. Participants then were able to chat with Gretzky and enjoy his company while playing through. This day resulted in funds being raised for many of the NHL Alumni’s important causes.

The schedule included lunch as well as a cocktail and hor d’oeuvres hour where the golfers were able to mingle with NHL Alumni members prior to a surf and turf dinner. Some other names in attendance included Paul Coffey, Eddie Mio, Jeff Beukeboom and Glen Gretzky. Each participant received a gift bag and a special signed replica Stanley Cup, which displayed the years “The Great One” won the Stanley Cup. We look forward to this ‘great’ event next year!
